About these terms
These terms cover your use of the Compound website, operated by Paper Lake (Sydney, Australia). By using the site you accept them. The specific terms of any placement are set out in a separate written agreement.
What we do
We recruit and place full-time staff for Australian businesses for a one-off fee. The website is information about that service. Salary figures, timeframes and candidate examples shown here are indicative, not offers or guarantees on their own.
The deposit and fee
A $500 deposit starts a search and is refundable within 7 days, or if we produce no shortlist. The $4,500 balance is due only when you hire. The performance guarantee and its conditions are set out in your placement agreement, not on this page.
Compliance
We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice. Where you contract a worker directly, the documents come from an Australian law firm and the classification decision is recorded as yours, made on independent advice. See the compliance page.
Your use of the site
Use the site lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt it or misuse the forms. Content and branding on the site belong to Compound and may not be copied without permission.
Liability and contact
